Jake is ready to retire in the comfort of a loving home.

Jake adoptable dogMeet Jake. Labrador Retriever.
60lbs • Senior Adult • Male

Jake’s family had to relocate and a lovely person has taken him in so he didn’t have to go to the shelter but she really wants to find him a new forever home because he has to be kenneled while she is at work and she feels that it’s not the best for him. He is house trained, crate trained, and knows some basic obedience skills.

His health appears to be good although he’s a bit hard of hearing due to his age. He’s not a barker, is good with cats, kids and other dogs. He does need to be crated or confined if left alone as he has a little separation anxiety. A fenced yard is a must as he is a wanderer. Won’t you make room in your pack to give this old boy a few good years at your house, he will be forever grateful. He is 11 years old and weighs 60#.
